I have served the downtown Tampa business community
for over twenty-two years in this location and have
built my career and reputation providing outstanding
dental care in a warm personal atmosphere.
Technology will continuously alter the way I
practice dentistry, but will never change the way I
treat my patients.

Credentials
In 1969, upon completion of my undergraduate studies
at Kansas University, I returned home to begin a
career in pharmaceutical chemistry, which was rudely
interrupted by the first draft lottery. I won (#1)
and was drafted into the U.S. Army during the
Vietnam War. For whatever reason, the Army decided
to send me to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in
Washington, DC, and ordered me to be a biochemist in
their Institute for Dental Research. During this
period I decided that clinical dentistry might be
interesting and entered dental school in 1972 at the
University of Maryland in Baltimore. I graduated
Magna Cum Laude with a D.D.S. degree in 1976. I then
traveled to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor
and completed a residency in general practice. For
the next two years I worked for the Veterans
Administration in Detroit doing extensive
reconstructive dentistry in cooperation with the
University of Detroit’s oral surgery program.
Michigan was too cold and too gray, so in 1979 I
moved to Tampa, where I worked as an associate in
private practice until 1984, when I opened my
downtown Tampa office.Hobbies
When I’m not working, I spend my free time fishing,
skiing, racing sailboats, scuba diving and following
local sports teams.Professional
